5. Go on safari. Various elements of safari are coming around for spring, too. From animal prints to tribal-inspired jewelry, be on the lookout for elements of the safari that can punch up your current wardrobe and bring it into 2009.

One of the most important shopping tips for spring fashion, of course, is to look for the things that are appropriate for you. For example, the cropped pants mentioned above can make legs look a little short, so if you’re already on the petite side,you may want to wear them with heels to extend the appearance of your leg.

Likewise, expensive safari-inspired jewelry might not be appropriate for your lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean you can’t accessorize. Look for less-expensive versions that still have the same inspiration, but with a smaller price tag.
